The opportunity Join a supportive allied health team delivering outcome-driven care to adults with neurological conditions. This role is primarily Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA), Home Modifications (Home Mods) and Assistive Technology (AT), with a majority neuro caseload (e.g., stroke and acquired/traumatic brain injury). Salary: $85,000–$115,000 super Work type: Full-time or part-time Where you’ll work: Community visits WFH for reports clinic working Travel: Local only (typically ≤ 30 minutes) KPIs: No hard billable targets - quality over quotas Autonomy: Manage your own diary with genuine flexibility What you’ll do Functional Capacity Assessments: Plan and complete FCAs end-to-end for adult clients, producing clear, defensible, goal-aligned reports Home Modifications: Conduct home assessments (minor to complex), liaise with clients, families, builders/tradies and stakeholders; prepare evidence-based recommendations and documentation Assistive Technology: Lead AT trials and prescriptions (e.g., seating/wheelchairs, ADL aids, mobility and environmental controls) in partnership with suppliers Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with participants, families, support coordinators, and the MDT to translate goals into functional outcomes Clinical quality: Maintain timely documentation and contribute to service improvement Benefits: Flexible working: community clinic WFH (report blocks protected) Superb learning: shadow experienced neuro OTs and learn how to use the clinic's state-of-the-art technology No hard KPIs: realistic expectations to support best-practice care Mentoring & supervision: organised mentor plus external supervisor for community work Modern resources: access to clinic facilities and technology to support assessments and trials What you will need: Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy Full AHPRA registration Unrestricted Australian Working Rights Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience Driver's license and own vehicle Interested in this position?
